16 Easy Fall Baking Recipes to Take You to Your Happy Place
You guys, I get really weird in the fall. I turn into even more of a homebody than usual and I just want to be inside all wrapped up in my plaid throw blankets with a warm cuppa something in my hand and “Sleepy Hollow” or “Harry Potter” on the television. I light all the candles, get a fire going in the fireplace (even if it is 90 degrees outside…crazy Texas!), don the fuzzy socks, and spend a lot of time in my happy place: baking something tasty or making something crafty. I can’t help it; it’s just what I do! And I can't be the only one, right?? The way I see it, if baking in the fall makes you happy and the wonderful smells it creates in your home makes you really happy (like it does for me), then go for it! Often! Kick those kiddos out if you must, turn on your favorite music, and just enter the zone…and have a great time while you’re at it. Alone. Yeah, that's allowed.
And to get you started, I thought I’d share a few of my FAVORITE "fall" recipes (fair warning: pretty sure this post could have been named "Carbs, Carbs, & More Carbs" though). These come from some pretty fantastic food bloggers and are all husband and kid approved in my house. Some of them are quite old (as in, posted YEARS ago), but that’s because they’ve been my go-to favorite recipes for a very long time. I promise, you won’t be disappointed!
Please note that all images belong to the recipe sources and are NOT mine! Thanks and enjoy.

I, of course, also have a whole other list of favorite dinners and cocktails I tend to make a lot during the fall, but maybe we’ll save that for another post. 😊 If you try any of these, be sure to let me know how you liked it! And I’d love to hear your favorite recipes and all the ways you find joy in the season as well! Let’s talk!
