It's That Time Again: Boerne Diva Night is NEXT WEEK!

It's That Time Again: Boerne Diva Night is NEXT WEEK!

Who: Tons of participating shops on (and near) the Hill Country Mile and YOU!
What: Boerne Diva Night, Spring 2018
When: Thursday, March 29th, 5:00-9:00pm
Where: Downtown Boerne
Why: To HAVE FUN, socialize, and shop!

Last fall I made it out to my very first Boerne Diva Night on the Hill Country Mile (you can read all about what the shops were up to for that event here).  To say that it was amazing and that the event went entirely beyond all my expectations is the honest truth!  Main Street came completely alive with so many wonderful women...shopping, sipping, dancing, tasting, laughing, and thoroughly enjoying the company of good friends and kind neighbors.  There were no strangers that night.  Instead, there was a fantastic community-feel to the whole evening that was almost indescribable; something truly unique to a small Texas town.  I had a strict curfew of 8:00pm, which I blew off with a quick phone call at approximately 7:39, “Honey, we’re just having too much fun.  See you about 9:30!”.  What?  We’re allowed to do that every now and then, right?

Hunting & Gathering for the home boerne fall diva night 2017.

If you're a Diva Night newbie, like I was, you're probably wondering, "So, what exactly is it?".  Well, Diva Night is an event hosted by local Boerne businesses, twice a year, in the fall and spring.  You start your evening either at the North end of Main Street at The Dienger Trading Co. or the South end at The Flower Shop.  The first 250 shoppers at both starting locations receive, of course, their tiara and feather boa (because what would a Diva Night be without a bit of bling, right?), and a list of participating Boerne retailers.  The evening is full of music, giveaways, appetizers, and drinks and it’s ALL FREE, so how much you spend is totally up to you!  Here are a few of the adorable finds I spotted in the shops last fall:

Diva Night just continues to grow bigger and bigger every year and now we’re up to FORTY-THREE wonderful Boerne retailers who are joining in on the fun:

And so far, we know that Soda Pop's will have $3 drink specials and live music by Cheri Gillham.  The Christmas Shoppe will have an Easter Egg Hunt for coupons, a Selfie Spot, a giveaway of a Willow Tree piece, festive snacks, and cool beverages.  Lila's Attic will have appetizers and wine.  From Scratch Farm will be celebrating Fiesta with chips, queso, flower crowns, sombreros, and a Selfie Station and you'll find another amazing Selfie Station at Pixie.  DJ Joe Garza will be spinning tunes at The Flower Shop and Clint Tomerlin will be performing live at The Pearl Antler.  And that's just the start!  Be sure to check your favorite shops' individual Facebook pages for all the details on what they’ve got planned for the night!

Still on the fence?  Just take a look at some of the awesomeness that is floating around the Instagram world from the last Diva Night:

I wouldn't lie to you, folks...this is a fantastic night in our little town.  So, start roundin’ up the girlfriends and making plans.  Kick off the night with drinks, appetizers, or dinner at one of Boerne’s amazing restaurants then head on over to The Dienger Trading Co. or The Flower Shop at 5:00pm to grab your free bling.  Don’t be late; they go fast!  Then enjoy every minute of your evening out of the house, away from the family, and laughing with the girls.  You know you need it…I sure do.  See you there!
