There's A New Treat on Boerne's Main Street - Check Out Salty & Sweet!
Last Thursday evening was the annual Spring Diva Night in Boerne. This is always one of my favorite Boerne events to attend, but this time, there was a bit of an unexpected “special treat” thrown into the mix that I am oh-so-glad I didn’t miss!
Have you heard of Salty & Sweet? Well, this is a family-owned, small business that just officially opened its doors for business TODAY, but the owners and staff were kind enough to allow us a little sneak peek for Diva Night. So, what did I see?
Well, lots and lots of vintage candy:
And ice cold drinks (in glass bottles, of course):
And soft pretzels and homemade ice cream, which I somehow missed getting photos of, BUT, be sure to try the Blueberry Merlot Sorbet when you go!
There’s also candy by the pound:
And handmade kettle corn:
And of course, a few smiling faces too:
You’ll find room to enjoy your treats inside:
And if you still need yet another reason to love this new addition to the Hill Country Mile in Boerne, maybe you’ll love the fact that Salty & Sweet wholeheartedly believes in training special needs teens and adults to help develop their skills in the workplace. And yes, they’re hiring too!
You’ll find Salty & Sweet at 123 N. Main Street. Be sure to keep an eye on their Facebook page for all the details on what yumminess will be coming out of the kitchen, and then take the whole family out for a special treat of your own…the kids will love it (and I think the kid in YOU will too!)
